While the exact origins are unclear, it is believed that this site has operated as a bar or pub as far back as the 1930s—possibly even earlier. What is certain is that this longtime gathering spot has been a part of the community for generations, with a rich history outlined below.

Originally known as the Lincoln Street Café, the establishment became closely associated with one of its former owners, Don “London” Martin—nicknamed for his birthplace. Don ran a simple, welcoming spot serving cold beer and he built a loyal following. Though officially called the Lincoln Street Café, regulars affectionately referred to it as “London’s place,” a name that has stuck ever since.

In 2009, London's was expanded into a neighboring bric-a-brac shop facing Lincoln Street. Renovations uncovered a large arch and an antique tin ceiling, allowing the space to grow and include a second large bar. The menu also evolved, and today London’s is just as well known for its food as it is for its wide selection of beer and spirits.
